Who is responsible

This website is operated by Hannah Marie Interiors, the interior design business of Hannah Secretan. Hannah Marie Interiors is responsible for personal information collected directly through this website. Our privacy contact is hello@hannahmarieinteriors.ca.

If you use the contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, and message. Your message may contain additional information about your project. Please do not submit information that is more sensitive than necessary for us to respond to your inquiry.

We also receive information you include when you contact us by email or phone. When you visit the website, our hosting and service providers may automatically process technical information such as an IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, pages requested, and the date and time of a request. This information may be used for delivery, troubleshooting, security, and abuse prevention.

How we use information

Contact form processing

When you submit the contact form, your information is transmitted over HTTPS to FormSubmit.co. FormSubmit.co processes the submission and forwards it to us so that we can respond. FormSubmit.co may also process technical information and use security or anti-spam measures in connection with the submission. Its handling of information is governed by its own policies.

Service providers and external links

We use service providers to make the website and contact process available. These providers may process technical information, and FormSubmit.co processes the information submitted through the form, as described above.

• Google Fonts provides font files requested by your browser. See Google's privacy policy.
• jsDelivr provides the Bootstrap Icons stylesheet requested by your browser. See jsDelivr's privacy policy.
• Our website host and email provider may process server logs, messages, and related technical information as needed to deliver the website and receive or respond to inquiries.

The website also links to Instagram. If you follow that link, Instagram handles information according to its own privacy policy and terms. We do not control the privacy practices of third-party websites.

Processing outside Canada

Our service providers may process or store information outside Canada, including in the country where a provider or its infrastructure operates. Information handled outside Canada may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction and may be accessible to courts, law-enforcement agencies, or national-security authorities there. We use providers that we believe are reasonably appropriate for the services they provide, but third-party providers control their own retention and security practices.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not currently use advertising cookies, analytics tools, or intentionally set first-party tracking cookies. Third-party services used for fonts, icons, hosting, form delivery, or security may use cookies or similar technologies for functionality, delivery, or protection. We do not use those technologies for targeted advertising. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may affect some website or form functionality.

Retention and security

We keep inquiries and related correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide requested or agreed services, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, protect our rights, or meet legal and accounting requirements. Retention periods may therefore vary depending on the nature of the relationship. Service providers may retain technical or submitted information according to their own policies.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and the circumstances. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on applicable law, you may be able to request access to personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw consent, or request deletion where legally available. To make a request, email hello@hannahmarieinteriors.ca with “Privacy request” in the subject line and describe what you are requesting. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within the period required by applicable law, subject to lawful exceptions and extensions.

If you are not satisfied, you may contact the privacy regulator with jurisdiction over the matter, such as the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, where applicable, Alberta's Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner.
